New Policy added to the Directory:
RES-013: Regulation of Controlled Substances in University Research. This new policy (1) establishes formal requirements for the acquisition, storage, use, recordkeeping, and disposal of controlled substances used in research; and (2) adheres to the Federal Controlled Substances Act, Drug Enforcement Administration, Virginia Board of Pharmacy, and University safety standards.
Policy Revisions in the Directory:
FIN-055: Faculty and Staff International Travel. Transferred responsibilities from the Office of Emergency Management to the International Studies Office.
HRM-002: Issuance and Use of Physical and Mobile University ID Credentials (formerly Identification Cards). Updated the title of the policy; added three new terms - Credential Lifecycle, Mobile Credential, and University ID Credential; and added two new sections - Section I. Mobile Credentials, Section VI. University System Compliance.
FIN-027: Payroll Allocation Confirmation on Sponsored Programs. Updated the titles of the reports referenced in the term, Payroll Allocation Confirmation Reports; reporting cycle changed to every two months; and updated the appendix.
